Playground, open-air swimming pool, tobe cellar
Make your family holiday an experience for young and old: Between restaurant, hall and reception we have designed a cosy tobe cellar for our little guests as a child-friendly hotel. Equipped with table football, billiards, table tennis as well as painting, building and handicraft corner, you can play wonderfully here, while dad and mum eat in peace or enjoy a glass at the bar.
Our garden is also a children's favourite, with lovingly designed playground equipment, climbing house, sandpit, outdoor pool, separate paddling pool and its own stream. So that nothing stands in the way of a relaxing, harmonious holiday in a family hotel.
Adventure holidays from nature to sports
In the direct vicinity, you will find many attractive leisure activities for a successful family holiday: if you would like to hike with your children, various theme hiking trails for children and of course the Rothaarsteig are recommended.
An adventure hiking map specially designed for families with children takes them to twelve family-friendly destinations and sights along the "Weg der Sinne" (path of the senses). In addition, numerous attractive excursion destinations are looking forward to your visit: amusement parks, adventure pools, museums, toboggan run, climbing forest, adventure bridge or downhill park are within a radius of ten to 30 minutes by car.
Adventure hikes
Very close to us are the Kyrillpfad near Schanze or the suspension bridge near Kühhude. Prepared for children, they explain the effects of hurricane Kyrill at the beginning of 2007 and the complex ecosystem of the forest between the treetops and the forest floor.
